The 8th "Waste Management and Waste-to-Energy Asia Environmental Protection Summit 2024-Focus on Vietnam" organized by INBC Global was grandly held in Ho Chi Minh City, the capital of Vietnam. The summit invited the Vietnam General Administration of Environmental Management, the Environmental Economic Policy Institute of the Vietnam Environmental Economics Association, the Ho Chi Minh City Environment Bureau, Ho Chi Minh Agriculture and Forestry University, Vietnam University of National Economics and other institutions, attracting representatives from Vietnam, China, Thailand, Belgium Germany, Japan ,US,more than 300 guests from more than 150 companies and institutions from 13 countries and regions.

Currently, Vietnam is in the process of rapid urbanization. Its huge energy demand and increasing urban solid waste and other issues are more prominent. As a destination country for the transfer of some Chinese industries, Vietnamese provinces are vigorously promoting waste-to-energy projects to achieve Energy disposal and utilization of local solid waste. 3月22日上午，華星東方與其他參會(huì)嘉賓一起參觀了胡志明市最大垃圾填埋廠，下午參觀了越南平陽(yáng)省第一個(gè)垃圾發(fā)電廠，該項(xiàng)目的投資總額為4900萬(wàn)美元，于2024年1月12日投運(yùn)，建設(shè)規(guī)模為日處理垃圾200噸，發(fā)電功率5MW，是越南運(yùn)用本國(guó)技術(shù)在垃圾發(fā)電行業(yè)的一個(gè)嘗試性項(xiàng)目。通過(guò)本次參觀使與會(huì)嘉賓進(jìn)一步了解了越南當(dāng)?shù)毓虖U處理及垃圾發(fā)電行業(yè)的現(xiàn)狀。
On the morning of March 22, Huaxing East Co. and other guests visited the largest landfill plant in Ho Chi Minh City, and in the afternoon visited the first waste-to-energy plant in Binh Duong Province, Vietnam. The total investment in this project is US$49 million and will be completed in 2024. It was put into operation on January 12. The construction scale is to process 200 tons of garbage per day and generate power of 5MW. It is a trial project in Vietnam's waste-to-energy industry using domestic technology. This visit enabled the guests to further understand the current situation of local solid waste treatment and waste-to-energy industries in Vietnam.
